With over 12 years of extensive experience, Arkady assists his clients to achieve their life goals through well-designed, comprehensive financial strategies. He is proficient in multiple areas of financial planning, including insurance, investments, retirement income planning, tax reduction strategies, and estate planning. He is also a proponent of planned giving philosophy to help protect individuals' estate assets.

Arkady utilizes a “team approach” to help people to address their financial needs and goals. He works very closely with the network of Attorneys and CPA's to create strategies designed to help ensure client's present and future well-being. Using this process , he has helped many clients understand how they can meet and exceed their financial goals.

Arkady works for Walker Financial Partners, LLC, a general agency of Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company (MassMutual), which leverages the extensive resources of this nearly 157 year old Fortune 100 Company.

In 2009, Arkady Milgram was certified as a Special Care Planner who will be able to help people with disabilities and other special needs and their families with life care planning and other financial needs.  The Special Care Planner course has provided Arkady with the information and training needed to offer guidance to families by providing access to information, specialists and financial solutions that can help improve the quality of life for persons with special needs now and when their families are no longer able to provide care.

In 2007, Arkady was among the elite 4 percent of the nationwide field force of 4,000 to qualify for MassMutual Blue Chip Council. Members are chosen on the basis of their high productivity and service to policy owners and clients.

Prior to joining Walker Financial Partners, LLC, Arkady worked as Partner and Assistant Managing Director for New York Life and MONY Group, Inc., where his primary function was to recruit and train new financial professionals. He became immersed in a full range of financial practices serving business, family, and individual clients, which led to his development of his “holistic approach” in helping clients find appropriate solutions to their financial needs. In 1998, Arkady joined American Express Financial Advisors, Inc., where he quickly established himself as a leader with superior performance, being promoted to his first management position in less than nine months.

Arkady is currently Legislative Chair for the San Fernando Valley Chapter of the National Association of Insurance Financial Advisors. He is also Treasurer of Consumer Credit Counseling Service, a non-profit debt counseling organization serving Santa Clara through Ventura counties.

Arkady escaped Russia in 1988 and sought political asylum in the United States . Having only one suitcase and about $100 in his pocket, he started building his life in the new country, living the American Dream. He became an American citizen in 1996.

He graduated from Moscow University with a Master's Degree in Biochemistry in 1986. In the United States , he began earning his financial planning credentials, professional designations, and certifications at American College in Bryn Mawr , Pennsylvania in 1998.

Arkady lives with his wife Luba and their two children Tony (15) and Maria (7) in Newbury Park , CA . He enjoys movies, spending time with the family, and watching hockey, baseball and football. Arkady has won Yahoo Fantasy Hockey League three years in a row.
